Elwood is an oft-forgotten town, caught between the more famous Northport and Harborfields.
Elwood is a great town full of great people. It's nestled between the convenient shopping of East Northport (Whole Foods, Stop & Shop, etc.). It's also nearby one of my favorite restaurants: the taco spot!
Elwood is a great neighborhood for young families. Nice blocks with sidewalks, small streets, culdesacs. If you drive through, drive slow, as you should expect to see kids playing.
This town is also a little closer to the highways. If you need to feel like the city is "near me," this may be a better fit than some of the coastal areas.
